Ms. Wardlaw is the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Head of Business Transformation for Munich Re North America Life & Health, a global leader in reinsurance solutions for the insurance industry.  Ms. Wardlaw is inspired by the limitless possibilities of digital transformation.   Describing herself as “thinking radically and working to disrupt the financial services industry through digital technology and talent,” she is leading the industry to new levels of operations using the tools of the future.  Ms. Wardlaw is a passionate believer in life-long learning, and has over 20 years of experience in leading complex transformations that impact and disrupt every part of business.  We are excited to have Ms. Wardlaw share her views of what is on the horizon for the insurance industry, tools we will be using, and the impact it will have.

Biography

Lisa Wardlaw is Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer & Head of Business Transformation, North America (Life and Health). She is responsible for operations including data intake, translation, validation, administration of treaties, retrocession administration, claims administration, system integration and digital business transformation activities.

Lisa joined Munich Re in 2009 with over 20 years of experience in financial and operational systems implementations. Throughout her career with Munich Re, Lisa has championed dramatic improvements in processes and systems, and has been the driving force behind the future technology landscape for North America (Life and Health).

Lisa is a graduate of the Rhodes College. She is an active in the digital transformation community leading key thought pieces on innovation within data, finance, accounting and insurance operations.
